Calling all Studios: Who Will Help in the Making of The Travels of The Penguin?
The new children’s series The Travels of The Penguin has been greenlit by WGBH.  It will be a pleasure to see the upcoming show on the channel’s lineup- that is, once a production company is acquired.  So the question now is- who will provide the official look for this new series?

That is why The Penguin will be looking for the one to handle his new show.  Any company who is interested can make a sample piece to send in for audition.  Just make sure that the look truly reflects the feel of The Penguin.

Best Wishes,
Tim

On Writing “On Writing”

The book is fairly interesting thus far.  I have heard of Stephen King before (thanks to my mother) and read some of his work.  Here we get to know some insight about his life and career, alongside with the writing advice he has to offer.  Anecdotes can get the point made when he has personal experience to note; one example was the research/back story being related to the time when he was writing “From a Buick Eight,” wondering how he would portray the Pennsylvania State Police in the story.

Something New Comes This Way

The ultimate new kids program, tentatively titled The Travels of the Penguin, is expected to be this year’s hottest new franchise for those in the 5-10 range.  The central protagonist, whose name has yet to be decided upon, is a smart yet fun loving bird of Antarctica whose adventures lead him to help solve problems in math, writing, art, and other topics helpful for slightly older children.  It may be one to reach a new balance in fun and education.  Coming soon to televisions everywhere.
